Feast of St. Catharine, April 29

What is a feast day?

In the Catholic Church, the Church assigns one date out of the year for every canonized saint, which is known as the saint’s feast day. The saints are remembered on their individual feast days with special mention, prayers, and possibly a scripture reading in that day’s Mass.

April 29 is the Feast Day of St. Catharine of Siena. She died on April 29, 1380.
