CincItalia Offers the Best of Both Worlds
In 2010, Saint Catharine of Siena Parish festival organizers looked to differentiate our annual fundraiser from other local church festivals. By partnering with local Italian-American organizations, CincItalia has brought back some of the traditional elements of Italian festivals not seen in Cincinnati for decades. While continuing to incorporate attendee favorites, CincItalia offers the best of both worlds.
One attendee says, “It’s a great cultural event. The food, music, and authentic Italian feel of CincItalia set it apart from other festivals.”
CincItalia features impressive live cooking demonstrations by national and local Italian chefs on the La Cucina Galbani Cooking Stage, a convivial “al fresco” wine garden, national and local music acts, Italian dancers, food and dessert offerings and more. This year, a special “History of ‘CincItalians’ talk will be presented by researcher Gerardo Perotta.
The winning formula includes keeping some traditional west side festival staples such as Big 6 and other games, raffles, a Main Award with a grand prize of $10,000, plus carnival rides, face painting and kids games
(on Saturday and Sunday only).
No matter what your heritage, please come and enjoy our Italian festa on June 1, 2, and 3!
